Public transportation

On April 26, 2025, for Earth Day, the unions of the Société de Transports de Montréal demonstrated alongside environmental and community groups to advocate for better funding for public transportation.

We invite unions and environmental organizations to take this mutual rapprochement further: unions can invite community and environmental organizations to work with them to develop demands that ensure the common good. For their part, community and environmental organizations must publicly support transportation union strikes.

Together, let’s build the leverage we need to create a fairer and greener Quebec.
